Of all the mantles placed on my life to this point, FATHER has been one of the most challenging to bear. Being a father means I have to accept the process of maturing. Being a father changes the nature of who I am. Being a father exposes all my insecurities, traumas, strengths, and weaknesses and challenges me to overcome them all. As overwhelming as fatherhood is, remember that you were built for this! You have what it takes! God has impressed every need your child will have in this world in your heart. You are their solution. You are their greatest mentor. You are their motivator. You are a FATHER and that holds not just weight but authority.
